This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services provided by us.
The HRMS by HWPL mobile application accesses precise device location, including latitude, longitude, location accuracy and an address derived from the coordinates, when an employee uses location-based attendance. Location is used to verify that an attendance action is made from an allowed office location, to record check-in and check-out time, and to support attendance reports and correction requests.
When automatic attendance by office geofence is enabled by both the company and the employee, the application may collect location while the application is closed or not in use. This background location is used only to detect entry into or exit from the companys configured office area and to create an automatic attendance event. The event location and time are transmitted securely to the companys HRMS account for attendance management.
Location data is not sold and is not used for advertising. It may be accessed by the employee's employer and authorized HR administrators, our authorized hosting and service providers acting on our instructions, or disclosed when required by law. Employees can disable background location in device settings; automatic attendance will then stop, while available manual or face attendance features may continue to work.
Location and attendance records are retained for the period required to operate the HRMS service, support payroll and attendance corrections, meet company requirements and comply with applicable law. Employees or account owners may request deletion or correction by contacting info.com.
